• Earnings are tax free as long as 5 year waiting period is satisfied and qualifying distribution rules have been met

• Withdrawals may begin at age 59 ½
• No maximum age to open or contribute. Contributions may continue after the age of 70 ½ as long as the individual has earned income and files a tax return
